As the sun goes down we see less well.

 

Retinal low intensity sensitive rods should take charge, high intensity cones take a rest.

 

Not always moon lit, not in modern life. 

 

Let electrics illuminate and beautify the dark city until midnight, then sleep til dawn. All eyes and even great cities need rest.

 

But - wow - whilst awake.
