Recalling a foggy night challenging drive as a student on the Snake Pass. At the summit, my Ford Escort MkII headlights couldn't even hit the ground.....a bank of swirling white.....road invisible....impossible to go on....very cautiously turned around.
What a joy it is to have a clear view.
