Is the NHS ready to go digital?

I'm not convinced.

Can IT beat the flexibility, simplicity & cost effectiveness of a pen & paper?

Or a simple old-fashioned tape dicta-phone?

IT has a place, yes.

But I do not think we are ready to sell the soul of medicine to a screen.
