One for nostalgia - recalling the great retro video games of the 80s/90s.

Given all the technical limitations, tirelessly coding every point with colour and form, the first digital artists back then achieved something really quite stylistically iconic.

Tiling an image from a mosaic.

A rare ability to stand far back and imagine the whole.

Whilst looking close-up at the individual dots of creation.

What lies within.

An incredible amount of detail.

New video by Voypix - tremendous effort & insight, thanks

[Original video lost: if anyone can identify the 1990s videogame intro for me let me know: a spaceman in ship, landing on a planet, getting gout walking to a large hatch, then going down in elevator to chamber where there where spider like creatures in jars....

With spritely thanks to Saturnia

& the mighty musical synth creative mind that is Pilotpriest: Recaller]
